At present, the cotton straw stalks fermented cattle and sheep forage materials produced by the company have reached the high standards of puffing, detoxification and no residue pesticides. The enterprise standard of "cotton stalk puffed fermented feed" passed the review of the feed review team of the Animal Husbandry Department of the autonomous region. China's pure cotton stalks are the first in the production of cattle and sheep feed enterprises, and become the first enterprise standard setter for cotton stalk feed in China. It is expected to rise to local standards and eventually become a national standard.

Cui Jiwen, general manager of Xinjiang Hongruida Biotechnology Co., Ltd., told reporters that cotton stalk skin, core separation technology and high temperature and high pressure detoxification and maturation technology based on rocket technology are the two cores of Xinjiang Hongruida to overcome the problem of cotton stalk fiber separation. Technology, skin and core separation technology is pure physical automated production, mainly producing three products: stalk fiber, bast fiber and chip. This high-temperature and high-pressure detoxification and maturation technology produces cotton straw stalks (cooked) beef and sheep feed to ensure the safe consumption and nutritional needs of cattle and sheep. The 5,800 tons of forage produced by their company are sold out every year.

Moreover, this cotton straw detoxification forage cattle is more edible and safe, and now it is no longer worrying about feed in winter.

It is understood that the annual output of cotton straw in our district is more than 10 million tons. Cotton straw is rich in crude fiber and has the basis for making high-quality feed. However, due to its high lignocellulose content, free gossypol and poor palatability, It is directly used as a feed utilization rate and has poor effect, which hinders the large-scale comprehensive utilization of cotton straw. The breakthrough of these technologies will enable the effective use of cotton stalks produced by 20 million mu of cotton in Xinjiang, which will greatly promote the development of animal husbandry in Xinjiang.
