Apple's new patent application: "Smart shoes" concept released

According to foreign media reports, a patent application document that was exposed at the end of January showed that Apple is developing a "smart shoe." Apart from being more comfortable to wear than ordinary shoes, this kind of shoes also has a degree of induced wear.

It is reported that Apple has applied for three patents: wear level sensor, data collection processor. In addition, other hardware devices of the smart shoe are expected to include built-in LED lights, speakers, display screens, and the like.

According to the document description, smart shoes are not only comfortable but also provide protection. When the user performs a vigorous body movement, it can provide a certain stability for the foot; when the shoes are in a state of serious wear and may cause foot damage, it can make a sound to remind the user to replace.

Appleinsider, a technology website, points out that similar smart shoe concepts have long existed, and Nike and other industry giants have launched footwear products that can detect athletes' physical performance.
